Jeffrey Poliseno

Jeffrey began his career in 1993 at Marsh & McLennan. He then joined the Space division in 1995 and became the Vice President. In 1998 Jeffrey joined Aon until 2004. During this period, he was the Senior Vice President of Space and specialised in the development of risk management programs for major space industry accounts.
Jeffrey holds a BA in Economics from University of Massachusetts.

John P. Cozzi

John Cozzi has 25 years of overall experience in the insurance industry, with 16 years of experience specifically in satellite risk management services. Included in this experience are four years as a Safety Engineer at NASA and twelve years in the international space insurance brokerage business, positions ranging from Account Executive to, President of one brokerage house's Space Group. Mr. Cozzi has been involved in risk management, launch insurance services and launch insurance placements for such organizations as Intelsat, Boeing, LM International Launch Services, Comsat, SES Astra, Optus, Mexico and Sea Launch.

Stephen C. Leonard

Steve Leonard has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and over 25 years as an insurance broker. He joined ISB in August 1998. Prior to ISB, Mr. Leonard served 19 years with a major insurance broker, and was Senior Vice President of its space insurance practice. His areas of expertise include space program business plan risk analysis and risk management program design, satellite launch and in-orbit insurance program design and marketing and launch vehicle operator liability insurance program design, and space risk insurance marketing. He has worked extensively on issues of allocations of risk, indemnity and third-party liability in space programs.

Mr. Leonard holds a BA degree in Economics from California State University at San Diego. He is a member of the Department of Transportation’s COMSTAC Risk Management Advisory Working Group and the Reusable Launch Vehicle Working Group. He is also a past member of the American Brokers Committee of the Aircraft Builders Council.

Michael J. Vinter

Mike Vinter is an Executive Vice President of International Space Brokers, with twelve years of experience in the insurance industry. Since joining ISB, Mike has been actively involved in the Motorola (Iridium), Embratel (Brasilsat) and NSPO (ROCSAT-1) programmes. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In addition, he has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.

Jared Ball

Jared Ball has more than 10 years of experience in the Space Industry. This experience was in a variety of Satellite System Engineering roles with Boeing Satellite Systems, Space Systems/Loral, Sirius Satellite Radio and most recently Intelsat in Long Beach, California. He was worked on numerous programmes for customers such as SES-Astra, SCC (Superbird), DirecTV and EuropeStar. He holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering from University of Southern California and a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Christi C. Chao

Christi Chao has seventeen years of experience in the insurance industry. Her primary responsibility at ISB is to provide technical support and assist in marketing of new and existing clients. Prior to ISB, Christi’s brokerage experience with an international insurance brokerage firm included handling of major risk management and aerospace accounts. Her specialties were in risk analysis, marketing negotiations, and account administration for clients. Christi is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, and specializes in Asian business.

Erika Thompson

Erika Thompson joined ISB in 2001 and currently assists specific account leaders with risk management and analysis, insurance program design, placement, and account administration. Erika also manages the distribution of ITAR controlled information for ISB accounts. She has been involved in launch and in-orbit placements for such organizations as XM Satellite Radio, Telesat Canada, AT&T, Globalstar, DTN, Turksat, Scientific Games Corp. Erika holds a Maryland insurance broker license. She also is currently working towards her BA degree in business management at the University of Maryland.
